Lavandula 'Grosso' is a Lavindin which is a hybrid between Lavandula Augustifolia and Lavandula Latifolia. It has long flowering stems with multiple lateral branching. Gosso is also known as a French Lavender.

The plant is round and bushy with greenish-grey foliage taking around 3 years to mature. A mature plant mound is around 40-50cm and when in flower can be over 1m tall.

Grosso provides an abundant harvest for lavender wands, sachets, arts and crafts and potpuri.

It is drought resistant, is tolerant of the cold (tender new shoots can brown if caught in a frost), honey bees love it. It needs good draining soil.
